CALLING ALL VENUES, PROGRAMMERS AND ARTISTS OVER 60!
In celebration of Senior's Week this June, Eldersong is challenging Calgary to host 60 elder performers over the age of 60 on 60 stages across the city on June 7.
Here's how you can get involved:
🎼 Host an event: open your stage, find elder performers -- dancers, singers, poets, and more! Invite your community to the show.
🎵 Find a stage: it could be your grandma's kitchen, a retirement village, a care home, live music venues, churches, community centres, parks -- or anywhere else you can imagine -- and put on a show!
Age-Friendly Calgary and Music Mile will help to promote your event, and we'll produce a video that showcases a few minutes of each performance so that they can be enjoyed by art lovers far and wide.
